Monster Lunch
It's a three-eyed monster lunch today. Some garlic butter Halloween pasta, three eyes (meatballs, cheese and black olives), a snap pea mouth, and the nose is a little container of parmesan to sprinkle on her pasta. Some fresh veggies on top, and some grapes with a little vampire pick on the side.
Just for giggles, I etched a little vampire and some bats onto a mini banana with a toothpick for breakfast.

Haunted Veggies
N'Anna wanted Beefaroni in her lunch today, in the thermos (not pictured). So, I went with a haunted house mini cheese sandwich, and some haunted veggies. Carrot slices cut into cute shapes with some Halloween linzer cookie cutters, some cherry tomatoes, and little yellow moon is cut from an egg sheet. Mandarin oranges on the side and some green apple licorice pieces to fill it out.

Creepy Spider Pizza
Creepy spider pizza today. Pizza is turkey pepperoni and cheese on a multigrain sandwich thin. The spider is cut from grapes. Half a jack-o-lantern apple, salad, ranch in the little container, and a few chocolate chip teddy grahams fill out her super creepy lunch today.

Jack-O-Lantern Stromboli
Today N'Anna has a turkey and cheese stromboli jack-o-lantern, apple slices, peas, and some strawberry yogurt with tiny fall leaf sprinkles.
Preparation tip: While our dinner was cooking last night, I used a Pillsbury Crescent Sheet to make the stromboli. I cut out two pumpkins with a large cookie cutter, cut the eyes and mouth from one, filled it with sliced turkey and cheese, and pressed the edges together tight. The rest of the crescent sheet I used to make a regular turkey and cheese stromboli to cut up for Mommy and Daddy's lunches. I try to get a variety into her lunch, still make it cute, and not waste too much of anything. Here's a picture of both after they came out of the oven.

Halloween Pasta
Found some super cute Halloween pasta the other day I just couldn't resist. Little pumpkins, spiders in webs, and mummies. So, some garlic butter pasta today, a little parmesan in the yellow container for her sprinkle on when she eats it, her favorite meatloaf in the spider cup, peas, and some peaches.

Leafy Leftovers
N'Anna requested leftovers from Sunday dinner for her lunch today - her most favorite foods. Meatloaf and green beans. I added a couple of mini leaf cream cheese and grape jelly sandwiches (instead of leftover mashed potatoes), and some cinnamon applesauce. Put a little cheese leaf on top of the sliced meatloaf for a little autumn flair.

Pumpkins, Lunchable Style
Yesterday, N'Anna got to do a little early trick-or-treating at a special event, so I thought it's time to start with something Halloweeny. She picked out some vegetable soup for her thermos (not pictured). I cut out some ham and cheese pumpkins to go with her vegie crackers and grapes. She didn't eat the mini Lorna Doone's from yesterday, so I popped them back in today. The little cup they were in yesterday had a lid that wasn't pictured, so they are still fresh. Added a pumpkin and a "BOO" cupcake pick to dress it up a bit.

Autumn Leaves
N'Anna requested Beanie-Weenies in her lunch today. She normally "don't like beans" - but apparently, if you add hot dogs, they're ok. So, not pictured, we have the Beanie-Weenies in her thermos. Thought some orange slices and corn off the cob would be nice. Threw in a few mini Lorna Doone's for a treat. Couldn't really figure a way to make any of that cute, so I added an orange peel and a couple of apple leaves. Not too exciting, but hopefully she'll like it.

Another Owl
Another owl for lunch today. I just think they are so darned cute. Not pictured is some broccoli and cheese soup in her thermos. Crescent l'il smokie wraps and the owl has two halves of a l'il smokie eyes under the cheese and olive eyes that were a bit cuter so I put them on top. She also has a sliced plout and five little chocolate chip teddy graham cookies.
I got the idea from a sweet version of the crescent owls here: http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/ominous-flaky-owls/650e0089-4288-4c3a-8404-6dfc6256feb7

Acorns
Another Fall themed lunch today. Chicken soup, little acorn grilled cheese sandwiches, green beans and pears.
I used a little rolling pin to flatten a piece of bread, then used a small acorn cookie cutter to cut out the acorns with the flattened crust at the top to make the little sandwiches.

Pizza Bread Snails
I know you can't see the snails real well, but they are crescent roll pizza bread with turkey pepperoni, cheese and some marinara rolled up to look like snails. Along with we have some crinkle cut apple slices and a salad with carrots and sliced egg. In the tiny divided container I have some marinara to dip her pizza bread in, and some ranch and cheese for the salad.
Note: The snails were inspired by the cutest little animal shaped rolls I saw on a lovely blog, With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart. Wonderful recipes there. While preparing Wednesday's lunch I made ham and cheese hedgehogs and these little pizza snails at the same time. I place them in the fridge and in the morning, I pop them into the toaster oven to heat them up and be sure they aren't soggy. After cooling to room temperature on a cooling rack, I put them in the box.

Princess and the Frog
Well, princess crown and the frog anyway. Today we have Campbell's Princess chicken noodle soup in her thermos, crown and frog grilled cheese sandwiches with egg sheet decorations, green beans and grapes.
As I was preparing lunch, I really wished the frog was green, so I decided to try my hand at some egg sheets. I really didn't have any trouble at all and was thrilled with how they turned out. The mouth on the frog is punched from a cake decorating sugar sheet.
Here's the link to the directions I used to make the egg sheets: http://www.bentoblognetwork.com/2011/11/bento-of-week-egg-sheets.html

Little Hedgehogs
Little stuffed ham and cheese hedgehog rolls and sugar snap peas on a bed of spinach leaves, corn off the cob, cinnamon applesauce, and a few brownie bites. I drew the little eyes and noses on the rolls after they were baked with a food marker.
Note: The little hedgehogs were inspired by the cutest little animal shaped rolls I saw on a lovely blog, With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart. Wonderful recipes there.

Pandas
I saw some cute panda cookies at Super Target over the weekend and couldn't resist them, so I decided to go with a Panda theme today. Toasted ham and cheese panda sandwich, carrots and snap peas, a ham and cheese flower, jello with pineapple, and a few strawberry filled panda cookies. They have cute pictures of pandas playing various sports on them.
